Prepare yourself for the wind !<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Even under the most beautiful sun, don’t forget that at altitude, the wind will be felt! In your tandem, you will fly over breathtaking landscapes, Lake Annecy, the Forclaz pass, Doussard… and all this thanks to the wind needed for paragliding<\/a>! On board your paraglider, the wind will be no less than 40 km\/h, which is quite strong! We do not recommend, even on a hot summer day, that you wear a short-sleeved shirt. In every season, it is best to wear a long-sleeved top to avoid suffering from the cold and ruining your experience. In autumn and winter, it is even better to wear three layers, a long-sleeved top topped with a jumper, sweatshirt, or fleece and a windbreaker! If you have sports tops (thermals) at home, this is perfect because you won’t be bothered by sweat. In summer and spring, two layers are enough, leave the jumper or sweatshirt but keep the windbreaker! It will be your best ally to enjoy your paragliding experience in any season! For the bottom, choose trousers. Don’t be tempted by shorts, even in summer, as you might regret it once you’re in the air<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Landing safely<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For a safe landing, it is highly recommended to wear appropriate footwear: hiking boots, or at least walking boots. If you don’t have any, you can wear trainers, but they must be sturdy and well laced! Indeed, sometimes the landings of paragliders can be a bit abrupt. Don’t worry, you are in good hands with our team of instructors<\/a>, who will ensure a smooth flight, but don’t forget that landings can be quick and you need to know how to get back on solid ground without spraining your ankle because of bad shoes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recommended extras<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

During your 20 minute flight, don’t forget to wear your sunglasses! You might regret it. The discovery of the Haute-Savoie, seen from the sky, deserves to be admired in comfort. Another accessory that could be very useful: a pair of gloves! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
